Bill 4 is an incredibly short sighted, irresponsible piece of legislation that should never even be considered. It simply cancels the only program the province had to address climate change and absolves the government of all responsibility. It doesn't require the province to address the issue of climate change in any way, and it provides no economic relief for taxpayers who will effectively be buying out the program. This bill looks like it was written by a toddler and said something like "No more carbon tax!", and then it was cleaned up and embellished by some lawyers. I am deeply ashamed to be represented by a parliament that would pass such a regressive and childish bill.
