Please do not take away the greenbelt. It all we have left. It sad enough as it is seeing all the animals running in the cities lost due to their homes being lost, or the amount of dead animals especially turtles on the roads now. This area was so beautiful growing up and green! Now it all going away and we have so little left. Please leave it and protect the little we have left! Here is a solution.
First block rent increase(especially single family homes)
Raise taxes on renting these homes to cut profits and make it harder to use as a business. (Especially single family homes)
Add rules to force really good maintenance of these properties. This will cut into profits more.
Don't allow switching of zoning to avoid flipping into duplex.
Basically make it next to impossible to make profits on renting and push all the companies and foreign investors away. Then sell them for regular family at affordable houses. People can have a life again rather then having to choose between rent increase or food. Let them enjoy life! I bet they will spend more on living as well and Quality of life will increase a bunch!
You can leave apartments for investors or something.
