Climate change is a hugely important issue. One very effective way of dealing with this issue is to put a price on carbon and other forms of pollution. This is a very natural and logical approach. After all, pollution costs all of us---we all share the same air, water, and environment. Without a price on pollution, a corporation that engages in environmentally destructive practices will continue to exist as long as it is profitable. With a carbon tax, profits have to overcome the negative cost of pollution.

Whether we implement a carbon tax or a cap and trade scheme, these can all be done in a revenue neutral manner, so there is no additional cost to the tax payer.

We cannot afford to drag our feet on this issue. We must act now!
