As a longtime resident of the Region of Waterloo, we ask that the Province approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6. Who knows the needs of this community better than those who live and work here.

This is a critical amendment that considers and provides for the future sustainablity of this Region and for our citizens. In this time of climate crisis and food insecurity, we recognize the importance to protect our prime farmlands and environmentally significant lands.

These protections will allow for the right to and provision of clean air, water, and food, for our citizens today and for the generations who follow.
