Please approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6. This regional official plan is exactly the bold and visionary plan that we need in order to move into a sustainable, livable, and successful future. It fights the climate crisis by reducing greenhouse gas emissions from traffic and transportation, protects the livelihoods of farmers by protecting farmland, and saves citizens money because they do not have to drive so much (therefore less money is spent on gas) and their food will be locally sourced and therefore cheaper. The future residents of Waterloo Region will thank you for this approval.
