We are the owners of 32 Acres of land located at 1159 Brodie Dr, Severn, Ontario, L3V 0V2. Our land is part of the Municipal Comprehensive Review under proposed Growth Plan for Simcoe, currently under review with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing as part of OPA 43-OP- 221936 and reference 019-6113.
Currently vacant land been zoned for M-2 Industrial however this will be good place that Town of Severn can benefit from residential growth. If a request to develop is granted there will be more jobs for locals and economic growth for years to come.
We appreciate the county’s vision for proposed Growth Plan reflecting community changing needs. We would like to extend our support to the municipality for residential goals and would be willing to develop the land for estate homes, subdivisions or intensification goals.
We would like to build a medium density residential development in our proposed land with Single detached, Semi detached and Town houses. With the Ontario government goal to built 1.5 million houses within the next 10 years, we believe we can archive the goal by removing the restrictions and allow lands like 1159 Brodie Dr to be developed as residential will ensure the goal archived in near term.
