Would be nice to have some incentives available, such as government grants, to implement Laneway Houses (additional dwelling units within the lot). That would provide the capability for home owners to help the government to increase the numbers of dwellings in the city (specially if they own a big lot that could accommodate a detached dwelling). The pre-fabricated houses and tiny houses are beginning to start up, so it would be a perfect timing for the government to support owners with these dwelling additions.
