Climate change is real and it's effects are upon us already. We need to take action now. It will take more than a carbon tax. We must have that in place and we must also remove any and all subsidies to fossil fuel extraction and use. We must also put in place hard, reducing caps on all emissions. At the current rate Canada will blow past 1.5C rise in global temperatures in very little time. Do the right thing and introduce measures to stop carbon emissions. Do it for the children if for no other reason.
