To whome it may concern,

I am a resident of Ontario, having only ever lived in this great province. By cancelling cap and trade, we are heading down the road of environmental disaster. Cap and trade is not just a tag grab, but forcing the biggest polluters to become innovative, clean and sustainable. A capitalist society, where industry is very deregulated, will not change fast enough to prevent environment destruction. If this government is truly about saving money for the people, we need to save the environment they live. Insurance costs will rise with uptick in natural disasters caused by climate change. Heath cost will rise with the dirty air we breathe. Production will be lost because of natural disasters. When the environment cannot sustain itself, we humans cannot sustain ourselves. If cap and trade is scraped, it should be replaced with the policy the green party wants to bring in. Revenue neutral carbon fee and dividend system.

This is not a political game, it's about the future of our planet, and saving a few bucks in the pockets of the middle class isn't worth it.
