I am strongly against the housing plan proposal which allows farmland in Ontario to be severed to build homes. Ontario farmland must be protected - there is so little of it left. We as a society must be able to produce food for ourselves. New houses should be built within urban areas where the infrastructure already exists. There is so much land already designated for housing that no new land needs to be built upon. Save farmland, waterways, wetlands, forests and the species which depend upon these environments - including us!
