Please do not pass this destructive, backwards piece of legislation. Ontario, Canada, and the world need decisive action to have a hope of preventing the worst outcomes of climate change. By pandering to a few - albeit loud and powerful - interests, this government "For the People" is actively working against the public good. As a citizen, as a parent, please admit that there is a need to put a price on carbon. Back down on this legislation so that we can all get to work on the systemic changes needed for my children to have any kind of quality of life in a couple of decades from now.
