I am very concerned about…

I am very concerned about the increased truck traffic that will be travelling down Hwy 21 and through Dresden, which is right by both an elementary school and a high school. Our crossing guard was taken away years ago and we have already had a child get hit by a car since then. Those big garbage trucks aren't going to be able to slow down or stop as easily as a smaller vehicle if kids are crossing the road in front of them. This is dangerous for our children first and foremost, but there is also the problem of increased traffic through our small town and the extra wear and tear on our infrastructure. Will York 1 be paying for a crossing guard and to repave the road when it is needed?
