Reject Bill 4!

We need more action to stem global warming, not less. I may be retired and not live long enough to see the worst of the destruction, but I care about the world and the quality of life for others, not just myself. Here are things to do instead of going backwards:
1)end all subsidies for fossil fuel and direct that money to clean energy solutions,
2)put a price on pollution--polluters should have the real costs of their output in their budget, not externalized to society as a whole
3) binding legal commitments to the Paris agreement
4) set a target date for 100% renewable energy

Ontario should be leader in environmental progress, not a hindrance to it. It is good for our economy (good jobs) and saves money in the long run, both on energy costs (fossil fuel costs will only go up) and health care costs.

According to the IPCC, there is a catastrophic risk if we do not take strong action.
