The latest IPCC report, created by hundreds of scientists from across the world, was recently released. This report shows definitively that disastrous warming of 1.5 C above pre-industrial levels will occur as early as 2030.

The scientific community has reached a consensus that we need to dramatically reduce fossil fuel consumption to combat climate change. This year economists won the Nobel prize for showing that a carbon tax is best way to do that.
This is outrageous. A price on carbon is needed as part of a holistic approach to migitagating climate change. The new IPPC report has all the info. Read it.

Extremely disappointed in the cancelling of cap and trade, a program which helps to curb carbon emissions, as well as directing provincial funding to much needed service and infrastructure updates throughout the province.
