Adopt carbon fee and dividend;
Focus on energy efficiency in homes and buildings;
Electrify our transportation system;

Until you come up with a reasonable plan to combat climate change, Cap and Trade should be kept, regardless on whether the oil and gas lobby likes it or not. Can you give us a valid reason on how cap and trade is costing Ontarians?
I am vehemently against removing this bill without an approved replacement in its place. If and when a replacement is proposed that accomplishes whatever goal is desired by removing this bill and does not put our environment in a worse state, I will gladly support it.
At this time any action that lessen our response to climate is unacceptable. Carbon pricing of any form is the best solution as it is a user based tax. In this case the more you pollute the more you pay.
