It seems to me that our Ontario premier is being bought by non environmentalist industries. Greed will eventually catch up with him and his family as he cannot escape the climate change that is beginning to destroy our planet now. His grandchildren will not survive, nor will mine. Read more

This is not the way forward. The IPCC just warned of catastrophic consequences if we dont move away form fossil fuels. Please, dont let profits dictate the end of the future! It is the duty of the government to ensure a safe climate for its residents. Read more

Please, please, please don't cancel the cap and trade program. It provides funds to so many refund and rebate programs that middle class Ontarians rely on to retrofit their homes. In turn, the home renovation industry relies on the refunds to drive business. Read more

We need to think about the future. Sure, its expensive (and far from perfect) but the cap & trade system is at least doing SOMETHING about climate change. Scrapping it to appease companies and taxpayers who care more about dollar beers is very short-sighted.

I want Ontario to go ahead with the carbon tax. We need to reduce our emissions to secure a future for our children. The cost of ignoring climate change will only hurt our economy. We are missing a good opportunity to enter the clean energy market and become a leader. Read more
