I would hope that any government in power in the 21st century would realize the damage humans are having on the planet. Cancelling this program - that is up, running and successful - without a plan to replace it is ridiculously short sighted. Read more

I’m concerned that this bill has no long term vision for curbing ontario’s contribution to human driven climate charge. I would like to see policies drafted which will disincentivize the increased consumption of fossil fuels within our society. Read more

It is clear that the world is threatened by climate change. Numerous climate events as well as the slow inundation of several island states as well as numerous unusually strong and damaging storms are all precursors of more serious climate change consequences. Read more

I agree with the current Ontario government that we need a market mechanism to combat climate change. But how can you have a market mechanism that does not put a price on pollution? You want to tear down cap and trade, and refuse to replace it with a carbon tax, so what's left? Regulation? Read more

Cancelling the Cap and Trade program, with no replacement is a subjugation of our responsibility to our commitment to the Paris Climate Accord. Ontario moves from progressive climate action to laggards. Less than 40% of the population voted for Ford and his ignorant minions. Read more
