Wherein climate change is one of the biggest dangers facing our planet and society today, wherein no alternative proposal for mitigating climate change has been proposed, wherein nobel awards have been given out in support of carbon pricing, I strongly oppose this repeal. Read more

The cap and trade system is a great system that was working well under the previous government. Greenhouse gases were being lowered and it wasn't costing the public anything. This system was good due to the fact that it was making the polluter pay. Read more

Bill 4, Cap and Trade Cancellation Act, 2018, is a major step back in our fight against climate change. I am deeply concerned with the proposal to cancel cap and trade especially in light of the recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that stresses that putting a price on carbon dioxide emissions is central for getting global warming under control. Read more
