We have 30 years to reverse the damage done. This cannot be done by individual efforts alone. We cannot go backwards. I need to know that we have evidence based policy that ensures we will have a future for my son, our kids. We need to increase environmental policy and protection.

Every day in the news there is some scientific study illustrating the effects of climate change. Our own St. Lawerence Sea way is becoming a dead zone because of climate change. This is all based on scientific evidence that can’t be ignored. Read more

The people of Ontario--and Canada--care about climate change action, regardless of party affiliation. As a conservative voter, I support climate change action and I support carbon pricing. Cap and trade works, and it has been working. Keep it. Read more

Please do not end the cap and trade program. This is a backwards step in fighting climate change. The IPCC report released this week details the need for immediate strong action to prevent the catastrophic effects of climate change. The consensus is in, action is required. Read more

Scientists are in agreement that climate change is the major issue facing society today. We all have a role to play in reducing greenhouse gases. This includes the provincial government, which must create rules and incentives to cut down on fossil fuel use and invest in green technology. Read more

Do NOT repeal the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016 and do NOT wind down the Cap and Trade Program. Have you not looked at the weather around the world? We need to do everything we can to minimize the effect of global warming. Read more
