Every day in the news there is some scientific study illustrating the effects of climate change. Our own St. Lawerence Sea way is becoming a dead zone because of climate change. This is all based on scientific evidence that can’t be ignored. Ontario has to do its part in reducing the global carbon foot print. If we join the other governments around the world that are already doing this it will put pressure on the rest of the world to do their share. The effects of climate change have a true financial impact globally, it will have an effect on my child’s future in so many ways. If this is just to save 10 cents a litre on gas, I will happily pay for it. I will happily pay for a clean environment. Embrace the green economy instead of entering into it 20 years too late where we stand no chance of even competing.
