How specifically will you be reducing Ontario's greenhouse gas emissions? How will you meet Paris Accord targets? What initiatives are you planning to foster a green economy, shift from fossil fuels and a grow jobs in green energy?
This bill is a regression for the province. Not only have studies shown that Cap and Trade was effective in reducing emissions and promoting environmentally sustainable projects, but it will reduce Ontario's competitiveness in the trillion dollar global industry of environmental solutions.

I disagree with repealing the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016, due to the fact that the new government has not completed any due diligence in understanding the act. It seems as though a great deal of taxpayer money will be wasted undoing the work that has been done.
