Do not pass Bill 4. Cap and Trade managed by Ontario is a much better approach than a Federally imposed Carbon pricing. Cap and Trade is up and running, optimize it instead of repealing it.

We need a real climate change action plan. I am extremely disappointed in the proposed cancelling of the existing cap and trade system. We will be taking an enormous step back. We need to put a price on pollution and ensure that those who pollute, pay the price.

The future is not with the continuation of fossile fuel. The former Secretary of State USA (an oil CEO) supported a PRICE by countries on the degradation of the environment to be paid by all.
I fully support Bill 4. Given recent ups and downs in the price of gasoline over the past year I see no reason to believe that the carbon tax will have any meaningful impact on use of gasoline.
Yes I copied this from the Green party's website but only because they wrote it better than I ever could and because I truly want all these things. With all that we know about climate change now, we can't actively be pursuing a strategy that doesn't fight against it.
