I have never heard of anything so STUPID. Why would anyone in their right mind what to stop this nearly completed wind project! Let’s get this back on track and get those blades spinning. Now not later! It has already been too long in the making

Private land owners signed agreements to let these companies come onto their land and guild these wind turbines to help with electrical shortage. The government of the day using old information to shut down the project is not right. It doesn’t matter where we live in Canada this should not happen

The environmental impact to remove all the cement, steel, cables etc. would be far more damaging than it was to install. I wonder if anyone of the protesters that claimed to care about a bird, a bat or a turtle are they going to give them one minute of thought now?

People don’t understand the harmful effects reversing this project will have. A lot of gravel, steel, cement and cables have been used that will need to come back out of the ground. It all has to go somewhere. Read more

Just because Ontario’s electricity system is badly run doesn’t mean wind energy is a bad idea. Providing monetary incentives to wind and solar makes sense but it seems like that idea was overdone. It’s not too late for a course correction. Don’t waste what’s already there

Getting rid of a $100 million project doesn’t mean the problem goes away. We still pay more for hydro than any other province. Even the U.S. pays much less than we do and they can't even figure out health care. It doesn't make sense to cut off your nose to spite your face!
