Remove Schedule 10 from Bill 66, which allows municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection Act. The greenbelt should not be slowly eroded by the short term thinking of municipalities.

Please do not eliminate the green belt and turn its farms into favorite, subdivisions, highways or anything else. this would greatly damage the 72 species who call the green belt home and remove much needed carbon storage. Do not open the green belt ipbfor development.

I don’t want the Greenbelt - home to 5,500 farms, 78 species at risk and 102 million tonnes of carbon storage - carved up with factories and subdivisions. The Greenbelt is protected for a reason. Don't destroy this planet more than you already have.

The previous governments have not kept to their promises of keeping the Green Belt and other similar areas GREEN. The current government should have learned and respect the public's expectations of having Green Areas for recreation, leisure and filtering of pollutants. Read more

Please REMOVE Schedule 10 from Bill 66, which allows municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection ACT. This is an unacceptable provision for all Canadians.
