  • one (1) drain grease interceptor trap
  • one (1) two-compartment precast concrete septic tank
  • one (1) one-compartment concrete dosing tank
  • six (6) partially raised fibreglass Ecoflo Biofilter treatment units
  • one (1) in-ground 50 m long and 24 m wide Type A dispersal bed

1. Prepare your application

What is considered

The appeal body will consider the following two questions in deciding whether to grant you leave to appeal:

  1. is there is good reason to believe that no reasonable person, with respect to the relevant law and to any government policies developed to guide decisions of that kind, could have made the decision?
  2. could the decision you wish to appeal result in significant harm to the environment?

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for the establishment of year round subsurface sewage disposal works rated at 13,250 litres per day, to service a restaurant, located at 8130 Highway 17 in the Municipality of Markstay-Warren, Part of Lots 7 & 8, Concession 6, Township of Dunnet, Parts 1 & 2, Plan 53R18413.

The proposed works include septic tank (s), package treatment system and subsurface disposal bed(s).

The ministry may require effluent monitoring and may impose effluent limits.
