Municipalities should not be forced to approve more land development. Preserving agricultural lands and forests, wetlands, and other natural ecosystems is and will continue to be increasingly important in the face of the global climate and food security crises.

1 TARGET-based land needs assessments need to be carefully chosen, continuously assessed and supported by related measures to promote urban intensification. There are so many reasons why we need more density.
As a local farmer, the purity of the water in our region must be maintained and thos cannot happen with the Dufferin Pit expansion and rezoning of prime agricultural land.
