While I support the minimization of duplication and the increase in alignment between different levels of government on environmental assessments, this should not be taken as an opportunity to in any way relax the scope of assessments on medium or high-risk projects. Read more

I strongly believe that all mining projects and major mining-related infrastructure should be subjected to a comprehensive environmental assessment. The Environmental Assessment Act should be applied to all major public and private sector undertakings, and not just a select few. Read more
