The site plan has been amended as follows:
- setbacks have been reduced to 0 m along the southern and southeastern licence boundaries
- the requirement for berms in the southern and southeastern setbacks has been removed

No comments were received in response to the Environmental Registry notice.
Through the ARA consultation process two comments were received, one of which indicated no concerns. The remaining comment identified concerns related to:
- conformity with a Provincial Plan
- additional consultation
- natural heritage features
The applicant provided additional information in order to address the concerns raised. A decision was made to approved the amendment.

Proposed amendments to the ARA site plan include the following:
- Site plan amendment to reduce setbacks to 0 m along the southern and southeastern licence boundaries. This would allow extraction within 120 metres of significant wetlands, as defined in the Provincial Policy Statement.
- Remove the requirement for berms in the southern and southeastern setbacks.
