I firmly reject the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel to the wild animals who are subjected to various methods used to train dogs to hunt. Read more

Disgusting, so many ethical ways to hunt wild animals and THIS one out of all the unethical hunting practices is getting encouraged? Not only is this barbaric, unethical and cruel, but also is extremely against what hunting is supposed to bring: Conservation and ethical behaviors. Read more

I cannot believe this train and trial is an active practice in our modern society. I am firmly against any expansion of this practice, and would favour the complete elimination of any licenses/approved facilities for this practice.

As a tax paying Ontario citizen, I am absolutely disgusted that this idea is even on the table. Here we are with Ford’s terrible government removing even more of their home (the green belt) and now torturing them. This is so incredibly cruel. Read more

It is unbelievable to me that this is an actual proposal. I am not against responsible subsistence hunting, as it provides food and cultural connections for many people. However, sport hunting with dogs, particularly when the targets are foxes and coyotes, is abhorrent. Read more

This is a disgusting practice. Do not let it be re-instated. Put yourself in the furry boots of whatever little critter is running for it's life for somebody's sport. We know so much better now.
