New licenses for dog train and trial facilities are a huge step backward for society. These facilities have no place in Ontario.
We are taking away the Wildlife habitat. Reserves are needed for them. Killing them is not productive.

Wildlife should never be taken from their natural environments and held captive by hunters. It’s especially cruel to use rabbits, coyotes, and foxes as pawns for hunters to train dogs and hold competitions.
I disagree with this proposal.
I am entirely opposed to recreational hunting (as opposed to subsistence hunting or Indigenous hunting rights). This practice of training dogs with animals bred for this purpose is cruel and inhumane. We should not use animals in this way.
