Proposal details

This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval No. A230634 (waste disposal site) for a 2.6-hectare non-hazardous waste processing facility located in the City of Vaughan, Regional Municipality of York, Ontario.

The amendment is:

  • to increase the volume of solid non-hazardous waste (including IC&I and construction and demolition waste) received and processed at the site to 1,000 tonnes per day, with an increased maximum storage capacity of 2,000 tonnes
  • for the use and operation of the site to manage 3,000 tonnes of excess soils per day, with a maximum storage capacity of 6,000 tonnes

The facility services the Province of Ontario, and operates from:

  • 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays
  • 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays
