I appreciate the intent to offer greater certainty as to costs for developers. It strikes me as fair to not change the costs before the developer has a chance to begin their project. I hope the attempt will be productive in reducing costs to all. Read more

I oppose this. The municipality I live in is several billion dollars behind in the maintenance of existing infrastructure because of low development charges and low-density development. This will make the situation worse. It is a handout to billionaire speculators and developers.

Once this protected virgin land is paved over, it is lost forever. Our water will be polluted, our wildlife suffers, our valuable farmland is gone, our wetlands and forests are lost. Surely Ford's greedy supporters and developers will be happy to build anywhere there is space. Read more
