Moving hazardous waste should NOT be allowed under the EASR, which was meant for less dangerous items to be exempt from scrutiny. It is important that companies that are involved in the transportation of these dangerous items are registered and comply with the existing standards.
As a farmer I am against any streamlining of permissions for waste water disposal. Do we not have enough problems with contaminated water in the North? There is no way to monitor accumulative impacts if the activity is occurring without any review upfront of the activity.

As a farmer I am against any changes to degrade the approval process in place for dumping waste into the environment. Are we not already dealing with contaminated soil due to poor monitoring by the government?
