I am highly AGAINST the development of four 32+ storey apartment buildings on Langstaff Aaand Hwy 400.

This area is already crowed, Langstaff road jaming every morning, and the renting units will not only increase the desity of residents, also introduce crime into this area!
While I understand the need for expediency in certain planning matters, exempting Minister's Zoning Orders (MZO) from the Environmental Bill of Rights Act, 1993 undermines the crucial principle of public consultation.

The infrastructure in this area does not support the amount of building. Traffic is a major issue for residents and has become a major safety issue.

We moved 15 years ago to the South/West corner of Weston/Langstaff with the understanding that the closest Highrise would be built along the HW7 corridor. Now 4 towers are being approved right @ the Langstaff HW400 southbound onramp. YIKES!!!

Not requiring a study on the impact these buildings will have on the infrastructure and the community shows a lack of understanding of your accountability to your constituents. Traffic is already ridiculous and this will make it unbearable.
I live in Woodbridge near the intersection where this proposal will impact. The congestion in that area is already extensive and difficult to manage especially at rush hour.

Our area has been accepting a lot of new zoning with condos and homes being made here. We request that this zoning not be approved as we want to continue to keep our community safe and not have any problems. We are a safe community and do not wish to have that changed.

Municipal Servicing Concerns
The city’s Urban Water Plan has not accounted for the servicing needs of this high-density proposal. Proceeding without necessary studies and plans could result in inadequate municipal services, impacting both new and existing residents.
Upward Pressure on Land Values
High-density residential development can drive up land values, which may deter new businesses from setting up in the area. This could hinder economic growth and job creation, counteracting the intended benefits of employment zones.
