Stop over reaching provincial power and please stop this crusade to kill innocent cyclists. Bike lanes are proven to increase traffic flow and encourage more people to cycle. Forcibly removing well-used bike lanes is an exercise of vindictive power.
I implore the province to make data justified decisions before removing or impeding development of any bike lanes. The safety of citizens should be first priority. I strongly oppose this bill as there is little to no empirical evidence in support of these mandates.
For those that need/want to drive in Toronto, the absolute best and only logical thing to do is to get as many other people on bikes as possible. Preserve and expand the cycle network to save time and reduce gridlock! Please!

Please don’t remove the bike lanes on bloor. I never biked on bloor before because I didn’t feel safe and preferred to drive. Now I leave my car at home and take a BikeShare bicycle.
