This proposal to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air) No. 7469-7TBQZK for QM GP Inc., as general partner for and on behalf of QM LP, for mobile in-situ ground remediation services, operating at various sites across Ontario.
This application is for the approval to treat soil and groundwater impacted with organic and inorganic compounds to support remediation, construction, and demolition activities. The proposed in-situ remediation technologies are chemical oxidation, chemical reduction, and bio-stimulation.
Delivery methods to include injection/recovery wells or galleries, temporary injection/recovery points, in-situ mixing or direct placement within the subsurface (including excavation seeding), augured hole back-fill method, permeable reactive barrier, and/or surface infiltration.
Contaminant emissions to the air include:
- hydrogen peroxide
- calcium peroxide
- calcium hydroxide
- ferrous chloride
- hydrochloric acid
