I am opposed to the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard (Ontario Place). It goes against decades of work by the City of Toronto to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. Read more

I was a member of the Toronto Island Sailing Club and can say that we have a certain pride in the health and cleanliness of Lake Ontario. Pushing through this proposal does not meet with our great city's values around clean water and care of our natural wildlife. Read more

There are so many things that make me feel helpless about how the corrupt Ford Ontario government is destroying Ontario. Much of the destruction is environmental, increasing gas, production, and paving marshlands & Greenbelt and farmland. Read more

Regarding the interim combined sewer to support development at Ontario Place (955 Lakeshore Blvd), I am strongly opposed to the proposal. This is a blatant disregard of the Environmental Protection Act, R.S.O. which agreed to protect the water quality in the Great Lakes. Read more

Ontario residents are not interested in a Mega Spa on our beautiful lakefront. The tax payer funds that are being used to support this development is appalling. The damage that this spa is doing to local wildlife, ecosystems and sewage/traffic infrastructure is horrible. Read more

I am opposed to this proposal. I live in the area and enjoy running and cycling along the water. I do not want sewage to be dumped in Lake Ontario as it would make it impossible for people to use the the waterfront trail. Read more

Where is the environmental assessment(s)?Why are the tax payers of Ontario paying for sewage redirect when the municipal of Toronto already has a plan in place? How come the government of Ontario is fast tracking all of this?

I oppose the proposed interim combined sewer at Ontario Place. This plan undermines decades of Toronto’s efforts to eliminate combined sewers and prevent raw sewage discharge into Lake Ontario. It also violates international agreements protecting Great Lakes water quality and ecosystems. Read more

This proposal for the interim combined sewer to support the construction of the Therme Spa is absolutely unacceptable. It's not healthy for humans who use the lake, nor for our wildlife. It's absolutely disgusting to prioritize private profits over public citizens' well-being. Read more

Kinga Surma does not represent the views of Ontarians. All development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard (Ontario Place) needs to cease immediately. Ontario Place should remain as it was, for all Ontarians to enjoy specifically because our tax dollars paid for it. Read more

How is this even being proposed? It’s clearly an incredibly terrible idea. This is a travesty! Not only the sewer but the spa entirely. One of the biggest errors in this province. First was 407. Next is Ontario place. 3rd is the failure to expand TTC subway and final big mistake is Science centre. Read more
