Deny this permit! This is going to absolutely destroy our water quality and the environment, considering the amount of diseases, medications, and chemicals that go into our sewage. Ford and the Conservatives will absolutely cause a second Walkerton because of this.

The speed up plan for Ontario Place is a mistake. I am specifically commenting on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support rapid development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard. I am opposed to the proposal. We need to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. Read more

I strongly oppose the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard (Ontario Place). The City of Toronto has worked for decades to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. Read more

The continued ignoring of environmental concerns around 955 Lakeshore Blvd, Ontario Place is deeply concerning to me. The Ontario government is looking to put in an interim combined sewer which would cause raw sewage to contaminate the waters and beaches of Lake Ontario in that area. Read more

I’m sorry, there’s no details to even comment. You’re going to dump sewage next to the waterfront trail? This is next to the Boulevard Club. What supporting documentation is there for this to even be considered safe or sanitary? Is this the standards we have now set for proposals? Read more
