This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) for Gordon Barr Limited for the operation of a mobile crushing plant, equipped with a material crushing and screening system, a stacker, and associated diesel engines. The equipment will be used to process aggregate throughout the Province of Ontario and will typically operate 10 hours per day, seven days per week, and 52 weeks per year. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- carbon monoxide,
- nitrogen oxides,
- silica respirable (<10 µm diameter) quartz,
- sulphur dioxide, and
- suspended particulate matter.
