Doyle Services Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (waste)

This proposal is for an Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) for a liquid soil processing facility. This transfer site is a 2.81 hectare property located in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario.

Upon arrival at the facility, the soils will undergo an inspection process to verify their quality and suitability for processing. Soils that do not pass the inspection will be removed from site and taken to an approved waste disposal facility. Once the soils have been inspected and approved, they will begin the dewatering process to reduce the moisture content of the soils. The dewatered soils will then be stockpiled on site in designated areas for further drying. Once the soils have reached the appropriate level of dryness, they will be directed for beneficial reuse as fill with prior written approval from the reuse site owner.

The service area for the liquid soils processing facility includes Province of Ontario. The liquid soils processing facility has a proposed maximum daily receiving rate of 400 cubic meters per day and a maximum storage limit of 13,000 cubic meters at any one time. Operating hours will be from Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with an exception in the case of an off-site emergency when liquid soil may need to be accepted after hours, on weekends or holidays.
