Our province is full of wildlife. Cutting the red tape that is species protection should not be on the table to make development easier, we can't get these animals back when they go extinct.

The new definition of a habitat implies clear cutting wouldn't impact a species future. This is a very worrisome proposal and not future thinking at all. This will permanently and negatively impact ours and future generations. This is a bad proposal.

This proposal gives me no confidence that there will be benefits to SAR regulated under the act. It is unclear what requirements would be enforced under the registration to 1. Protect the newly defined habitats and 2. Provide an overall benefit like the old permitting process accounted for. Read more
