The species on the list should only be removed when they are no longer endangered. Development should never occur before approval is granted. Do not agree with this change. Read more

I oppose Bill 5. It guts protections, ignores science, and tramples Indigenous rights. There is no need for this. It will not help to create more AFFORDABLE housing for Ontarians. Scrap it.

This is the opposite direction we need to go to protect species and habitat in Ontario. Animals need un fractured ecosystems that benefit tha life of humans and animals, keeping our water and air clean and life thriving. Money won’t matter when Ontarions can’t enjoy the land we live on

I am 100% against this. As a kid, we’re taught how important it is to conserve our endangered species. This bill being potentially passed makes me ashamed to live here and ashamed for our provincial government. Read more

We are in a terrible state of habitat loss for animals. Taking away protections isn’t necessary to build homes. There are empty buildings everywhere that need zoning changes instead. If you want to build more housing, look at underutilization spaces,. Read more

This proposal is so that the ministry review and approval step is avoided? Just because it’s successful for some species already in place doesn’t mean it will be for all. Read more
