Proposal details
This proposal is for an amendment to the ECA 1850-BQ8JYV to upgrade the sewage systems servicing an open pit talc mine and ore processing facility bordering Highway 101 in northeastern Ontario, approximately 65 kilometres southwest of Timmins.
The mine requires an Environmental Compliance Approval amendment to allow for a change in tailing's effluent receiver from the current West Crawford Creek to a new larger receiver, the Nat River, to which West Crawford Creek drains, along with construction of a new Wetland Clarification Pond, and updates to the Surface Water Monitoring Plan.
