This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air and noise) No. 4405-7T6R6N for Peninsula Alloy Inc., a ferrometal foundry facility, located in the Town of Fort Erie, Ontario. Operations at this facility include the melting of metals, mould and core makings, casting, thermal and mechanical sand reclamation, welding, shot blasting, and heat treatment processes.
This amendment application is for the approval of:
- two new baghouses
- two new heat treat furnaces
- one additional generator
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- particulate matter
- chromium (hexavalent)
- carbon dioxide
- carbon monoxide
- nickel
- nitrogen oxides
- silicon dioxide
