D. Crupi & Sons Limited - Environmental Compliance Approval (waste)

This proposal is for an application for an Environmental Compliance Approval (waste processing) for D. Crupi & Sons Limited for an asbestos reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) processing facility. The facility is a 0.15 hectare property located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

The operations at the facility include receiving the asbestos RAP and then processing the asbestos RAP to produce RAP​​​​​​​ as a feed material for road building operations. The applicant requests that the maximum annual average amount of asbestos RAP​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ is 950 tonnes per day. The facility requests an on-site storage capacity of 3,300 tonnes of asbestos RAP​​​​​​​​​​​​​​. D. Crupi & Sons Limited is requesting that receiving and processing of asbestos RAP​​​​​​​ may occur up to 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The facility serves Southern Ontario.
