Intelligent Soil Recycling Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (waste)

This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (waste processing site) No. 2084-ASQK9U for a dry and liquid soil processing facility located at 550 Bowes Road in the City of Vaughan.

The waste transfer and processing facility has a total area of 0.55 hectares, and processes dry and liquid soils for recovery of sands, gravels and other soils for beneficial reuse. The facility currently receives soil up to 7 days a week 5:30 am to 9:00 pm with processing occurring 24 hours per day, with up to 1,000 cubic metres per day, 234,000 tonnes per year, and on-site storage of up to 1,000 tonnes of processed soil.

This amendment request is to change the processing equipment to accommodate additional throughput, enhance the material sorting/segregation for sands and gravels, and provide for dry soil washing capabilities.
