This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No 8-5066-87-886 for Cochrane Power Corporation, an electricity cogeneration plant located in Cochrane, Ontario.
This application is to replace the wood-fired boiler with a new natural gas-fired auxiliary boiler. The sources at the facility include natural gas-fired equipment and cooling systems. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- nitrogen oxides
- carbon monoxide
- sulphur dioxide
- particulate matter, and
- noise
