The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is proceeding with amendments to Ontario Regulation 73/23. The amendments will:

1. Expand the list of municipalities to which the regulation applies.
2. Improve the quality, completeness, and utility of the information reported. 
3. Require municipalities to make public a summary of the data reported.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-24-000210 to Benton Resources for early exploration activities.

An approval was issued to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 9214-ALRKTL for Court Galvanizing Limited, a custom hot-dip galvanizing facility, located at 225 Thompson Drive in Cambridge, Ontario.

On March 6, 2024, a Certificate of Property Use No. 1143-CXDR4S was issued to the owners, Eleanor Coinvest GP Inc. and its registered and beneficial partners, of the property located at 11884 Sunset Road, Southwold, Ontario, as part of their continued use of the site.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Washington Sand and Gravel Ltd. in the Township of Branford-Blenheim to import 700,000 cubic metres of excess soil to backfill the site to the original elevation contours that existed prior to aggregate extraction.

Permit to Take Water No. 1437-DBEMX3 was issued to Vicdom Sand & Gravel (Ontario) Limited on January 8, 2025, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 1460-9UVMYU. Water will be taken from Giordano Lake for aggregate washing purposes at 3444 Brock Road North in Uxbridge, Ontario.

The ministry issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site) for a hauled sewage disposal site as described in this notice.

An approval was issued to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 2587-D2XMKM with Limited Operational Flexibility for Flex-N-Gate Canada Company, a manufacturer of metal components for the automotive assembly industry.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been granted to Integrated Gas Recovery Services Inc., for its landfill gas electric generating facility located at 950 Plymouth Drive, Mississauga, Ontario.

The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval for industrial stormwater management works serving a Toronto Hydro Electric System Transformer Station located at the north east corner of Sentinel Road and Four Winds Drive in the City of Toronto.
