We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility to Real Alloy Canada Ltd., a secondary aluminum smelting facility located in the City of Mississauga, Regional Municipality of Peel.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was issued to 2622722 Ontario Inc. (ownership of the site has changed from 2534929 Ontario Inc. to 2622722 Ontario Inc.) for stormwater management works at 2815 14th Avenue, City of Markham, in support of a proposed hot-mix asphalt plant.

This decision is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 4574-4YAQ76 for Atwood Heritage Processing Inc., a meat smokehouse facility located in the Municipality of North Perth, County of Perth, Ontario.

We cancelled the Environmental Compliance Approval (private sewage) application for Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities Inc. located at 1 Bonner Street, City of Ottawa. No approval was issued.

This new Permit to Take Water for Lake Shore Gold Corp. for industrial purposes was issued on April 9, 2021 under permit No. 7525-BX8BRA. Water will be taken from the Marlhill Pit, located in Porcupine, Ontario.

This application was closed on April 7, 2021 because the Municipality (applicant) will be submitting a new draft of the Official Plan to the Province for early consultation.  The submission of a new draft will effectively cancel out the existing draft and hence the need for closure.
