Effects of consultation

No comments were received in response to the Environmental Registry notice.

Three (3) letters of objection were received in response to the Aggregate Resources Act consultation process.  Objections were related to hydrogeological concerns, endangered species, and appropriate zoning not being in place.

The applicant addressed some of the objections by providing additional technical information, however at the conclusion of the process one outstanding objection remained. The application was referred to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal for a decision. On January 2, 2020 the LPAT issued a decision (Case nos. PL151041 & PL151043) directing the Minister to issue the licence.
